Terms of Service

1. Provider and scope

NomiaWeave is operated by ElaronWorks sp. z o.o., ul. Kalwaryjska 69/9, 30-504 Kraków, Poland (KRS 0001207366, NIP 6793349283, REGON 54333337900000).

These terms govern use of the NomiaWeave website and mobile app. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. Mandatory rights under applicable consumer law are not limited by these terms.

2. The service

NomiaWeave is a baby-name discovery service. It lets users create naming projects (“weaves”), set country, language, and surname preferences, compare and rate name options, keep favourites and history, make a final choice, collaborate by invitation, and optionally request AI-generated suggestions and name insights.

Names, meanings, popularity information, cultural context, and AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, subjective, or unsuitable for a particular family. They are provided for discovery and informational use, and you remain responsible for checking information before relying on it.

3. Accounts and age

You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account. The service does not currently verify age. You must provide accurate account information, use an email address or supported provider that you are entitled to use, and keep access to your account secure. An Apple private relay address is supported, but you should continue using the same Apple sign-in choice to avoid creating a separate account.

4. Collaboration and user content

You retain rights in names, notes, comments, and other content you submit. You give NomiaWeave the limited permission needed to host, copy, transmit, and process that content to operate, secure, and support the features you request. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except where a retained copy is technically or legally necessary as described in the Privacy Notice.

Project members can see shared project content, comments, generated insights, aggregate ratings, and member display names according to their permission. Individual ratings, favourites, and activity history are private under the current product behavior. A person who has a valid invitation link or QR code can see its limited preview and may be able to join, so share invitations only with intended recipients and remove collaborators when access should end.

You must have the right to submit and share content. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, infringing, or malicious content, impersonate another person, or use collaboration to harass others. Report a content or safety concern to support@nomiaweave.com.

5. AI features

AI features run only when requested. Relevant naming context is sent to the configured AI provider, and generated output and usage metadata are stored by NomiaWeave. Do not place confidential or sensitive personal information in names or fields that may form part of an AI request. Provider-side processing depends on the production provider and its approved terms, as further explained in the Privacy Notice.

AI output is not professional advice and is not guaranteed to be unique, original, accurate, complete, or free of third-party rights. Review it before use.

6. Family Pass

NomiaWeave may offer a non-renewing Family Pass through Apple's in-app purchase system. A verified purchase provides premium access for 12 calendar months and does not renew automatically. Purchasing on the website is currently unavailable. Apple handles payment, receipts, refunds, and payment-card details under its terms; NomiaWeave and RevenueCat validate and administer the entitlement.

Each Family Pass includes lifetime allowances of 100 successful AI suggestion runs and 1,000 successful generated or regenerated AI name insights. These are separate counts shared by the pass owner and eligible collaborators across every weave funded by that owner’s pass. A replacement Family Pass starts new lifetime allowances. We may throttle or disable generation that is automated, abusive, or harmful to service stability.

The price and included features shown in Apple's purchase sheet at the time of purchase apply. Nothing in these terms limits a refund, withdrawal, conformity, or other right that mandatory law provides.

7. Communications

NomiaWeave sends communications needed for requested service operations, including one-time sign-in links and account or support messages. Collaboration invitations are shared through the sender's device share options rather than emailed by NomiaWeave's current invitation flow. The current product does not implement promotional mailing subscriptions.

8. Advertising and tracking

The current service does not display advertising and does not include cross-company advertising tracking. A future advertising or tracking feature would require updated terms and privacy disclosures and any permission or consent required at that time.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service unlawfully, infringe another person's rights, or submit harmful content;
• distribute malicious code or disrupt, overload, probe, or bypass security controls;
• scrape or extract data outside ordinary use, or automate use without written permission;
• reverse-engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
• share account credentials or misuse another person's invitation or account.

10. Availability and changes

NomiaWeave does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may change as the service develops. Changes to these terms will be dated and communicated when and in the manner required by applicable law. Continued use cannot waive mandatory rights or substitute for consent where consent is legally required.

11. Suspension and deletion

You may stop using the service and request account deletion in mobile Settings or website Profile Settings. Deletion requires confirmation and recent authentication; a sole owner must remove collaborators before a shared weave can be deleted. The Privacy Notice explains the deletion result and records that may remain.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, abuse, fraud, security risk, legal requirement, or threat to the service or other users. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue, subject to applicable law and urgent security or legal needs.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NomiaWeave is provided “as is” and “as available,” and ElaronWorks is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer protections.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protection provided by the law that would otherwise apply. Please send a complaint to the contact below so it can be investigated. A consumer may also use any court or out-of-court dispute mechanism available under applicable law. These terms do not require use of a discontinued EU online dispute-resolution platform.
